Benjamin and Bill are brothers, even though they are completely different. Benjamin is a slim poet who loves to write, while Bill is a strong and bold daredevil.

Fate leads them to an extraordinary Island, where the strangest things happens. The brothers lose each other right at the beginning of the story and the jungle guards decide their final path. The guards devious questions will decide whether or not the traveller is worthy of the jungle's secrets. Benjamin's sincerity and righteousness will lead him to the Kingdom of the Crystal Fairies.

The story takes him on a whirlwind of adventures, from the village of the Crystal Fairies to the sacred Graveyard, where the song of the mischievous mermaids lures him into the depths of the lake. Luckily, a travelling companion saves the day. Who is she? On the final leg before arriving in the icy land of Doom, Benjamin encounters the Sandland, led by a character he already knows from the early stages of the story. Arriving at the oasis of strange creatures, they discover that the boundaries of the icy Doomland have already moved very close to the realm of the Crystal Fairies.

The fate of all that lives is now in their hands, and... little did Benjamin know that the love of his life would find him in the depths of this mysterious Island.

Bill was not as lucky as Benjamin. His selfishness got the better of him front of the Island's guardian, and it sent him to, the Glacial Kingdom of Doom.  Haades the King promised him a wish-granting diamond if he would steal the scepter of the Reigness of the Crystal Fairies. The reward was too irresistible for Bill to refuse, so he promised to help the King. This promise, however, proved fatal and froze him as a statue before the icy Castle.

Will Benjamin be able to save his brother from the grip of Haades, or will their paths part forever?
